CTM-Homecare have been producing mobility products since 1995 with a market place that is now worldwide. They produce a great number of scooters and powered wheelchair from lightweight travel capable and folding wheelchairs right through to heavy weight road going transport. A battery for your CTM-Homecare mobility scooter or power chair is a large investment and it should be cared for in the correct manner, always charge your new battery before first use, it is quite normal for them to take a number of cycles before they will be able to reach full capacity. In general use it is far better to charge the batteries after each and every use and if not using for long periods to charge every four weeks, it is not beneficial to your pocket or your batteries health if you allow to sit in a partially discharged state and never ever try to deliberately discharge the battery to a low state, this will do nothing except shorten the battery life.
