As well as supplying powered mobility scooter and wheelchair IMC-Heartway also offer many custom rehab motorised chairs for many different and demanding mobility needs.

It is always a good idea to fully charge new batteries when they arrive and first use, it will take up to ten such charges and use in the equipment before it is able to accept a full capacity charge, this is quite normal and you probably will not even notice, further you should charge after every use and never try to deliberately discharge them, doing so will only shorten the expected life span of this type of battery cell.

If for whatever reason they are not being actively used for long periods then you must also recharge them approximately every four weeks to keep them healthy

We can provide sealed valve regulated lead acid and AGM or absorbed glass mat batteries that are safe to use indoors as well as outdoors, as they are not hazardous and will not-spill plus recommended for this kind of installation, we have listed many of the chairs and scooters below, if yours is not there please contact us as we can probably help you
