Although the battery set you receive from us will be almost fully charged you should still top up when you receive them from us and before first use, also do so after every use, it does them no good at all if you deliberately run them down, this will only reduce the life span of the cells.

It will take several charges and use in the equipment before they will be able to take a full capacity charge, this is quite normal and part of the conditioning process that all rechargeable energy cells go through from new, although in general you probably will not even notice it unless you are a heavy user.

If you are not using them for extended periods then you also need to recharge on a regular basis to maintain a healthy status quo, perhaps something like four to six weeks at the outside.
