7.2 volt Makita cordless power tool drill battery replacement
Replacement 7.2 volt Makita cordless power tool drill battery, rechargeable power pack and stick batteries for Makita 7.2v tools, competitive price
The Makita range of power tools are very sought after, they are very well made and keep going for years, in particular the version that takes the stick battery have a lot of torque for the size of tool and well worth investing in a new battery as you would be very hard pressed to find a comparable tool in the market place today.
if your existing battery is not lasting as long as it used to, or perhaps seems flat the day after its been charged then you probably need a new one, as with all rechargeable batteries you must keep them charged, often the case that the tool is put away after a job, semi discharged and left in a damp cold garden shed for months on end, this is very bad for them, never put away discharged and top up every 3 months, this will not only help the battery stay in tip top condition but also help your pocket.
We are often asked about the amp hour of the battery, this is the storage of energy, a 1.3ah battery is the same as 1300mAh, the latter being in milliamps, you can replace any existing amp hour version with another, whether its larger or smaller, think of it like petrol in a car, the more you have the further you can travel but you cannot get there any quicker.
The other questioned we are asked is if its ok to use a NI-CD battery instead of a NI-MH battery, or the other way round, the answer is yes, the difference between these chemistry's is so slight now days that the end user would not know the difference and the chargers generally will charge both.
We have tried to list as many battery codes and Makita 7.2 volt tools as we can below and on the following pages but we are always updating this list as we become aware of others, so please contact us if you cannot find yours, we probably do it.
