This robust 6v 7ah battery is used in a lot of devices where a safe but reliable power source is required, as it is a sealed battery and will not spill any liquid, even if mounted on its side. It can often be found in portable essential medical monitoring equipment. It is just at home in small-form-factor rack-mounted computer battery backup and uninterrupted power supplies, where mission-critical data is stored, generally mounted on its side for many years in very hot environments. Unbelievably, it is just at home in a toy ride-on car or multiple other uses.

Valve-regulated lead-acid or VRLA, as it is often shortened to, also benefits from having absorbed glass mat technology or AGM.

These have a very tough exterior work very well in hot or cold temperatures, will not leak and need no maintenance except of course to be kept charged, used in something like a UPS system with a good charging regime they could be expected to work for over 5 years, this gets less if they are not charged in les friendly battery situations, like left over winter in a cold garage in a Childs ride on toy awaiting the first sunny days of spring.
