• Fantic battery

Fantic was founded in Italy by two people, Dr. Mario Agrati and Henry Keppel. They came together and started manufacturing bikes in 1968 beginning with enduro, mini bikes and go karts, which is now names Dual-sport and Motard

In November of 1969 the first bike by Fantic was shown at a bike exhibition in Milan, the 50cc Caballero, it went down a hit and paved the way for many bikes to come. After these had been on sale for a few years they brought out another model , the chopper. Both bikes were revised, re-named and upgraded many times over the years. Today they are often divided into three types, Super, Casa and Competizione.

The Fantic racing team was created in 1975 and start to participate in motocross, in 1981 they done well at the Observed trails world championships, taking three titles and seven wins at the Scottish six days trail which made the brand ever more popular. With a few more years and some changes to their bikes, they eventually won the world championship in 1985 and again in 1988.

United kingdom saw its first Fantic bike in 1972 when lots of manufactures were brought over from other countries to solve the problem of a new law that no longer allowed young drivers to ride motorcycles up to 250cc. Their first in the UK was a sensational chopper moped and a Turismo Internazionale, both of which were very popular and claimed to have boasted speeds of up to 70mph with only a 49cc Italian Minerelli engine. After this initial range of bikes were on the streets the company started introducing models with larger engines and different frames.
