Moto Guzzi battery replacement 12 volt motorcycle
Replacement Moto Guzzi battery pack, rechargeable 12v lead acid batteries for these famous motorcycles at low prices
Moto Guzzi started life in the 1920's by a couple of Italian military pilots and their mechanic, one a famous motorcycle racer, one the son of a wealthy ship owner and the other a engineer, unfortunately Ravelli the motorcycle racer died in a airplane crash just after world war one ended, this lead to the posthumous introduction of the now famous eagles wings which became part of Moto Guzzi logo. Carlo Guzzi designed the first engine, it was a horizontal single engine and were used for the next forty plus years and had a lot of success in racing including the isle of man TT, although they supplied racing teams with more complex engine than were sold to the general public. By the late 1960's the company had issues with the death of its principles and the company went into state hands, during this interim period the 90 degree V Twin engine was conceived and built which has later gone on to symbolise the Moto Guzzi name. The Company has since had a number of owners but has gone on to be closely associated to Motor racing with many success's on the track.
Another interesting point is that back in the 1850's Guzzi was the first the create a motorcycle wind tunnel, this was used to great effect to optimise the drag coefficient properties of the models and fairings so to improve handling and capacities at speed.
If you use your Guzzi only during the summer months or track meets then the best advice would be to take the battery off and charge it every 6 weeks to keep it nice and fresh for when you need it. WE have listed many models below but if yours is not there then look at the model stamped on the side of your old battery and use that in our search bar or contact us, we am sure we can probably help you find the right one for your bike
