There is no finer view of the night sky than when viewed from a sledge in the back of beyond, no light pollution, a distinct fresh mountain fragrance of pine to tickle the nasal passage, the only thing to spoil it is that it can be very cold. Not the place to break down, keep your snowmobile in tip-top condition, and that includes the battery. Just think about that nice glass of Canadian Club you can enjoy when you get back from your trip. You will not be doing that if the battery does not start on a cold evening, and push starting in the snow is not the easiest thing to do.

A 12v snowmobile battery when charged should be over 13.5v, check yours at the end of the season and the beginning of the new one just to make sure yours is up to job, better to get it in early than to miss the fun.
