Dacia was found in the 1960's in Romania. as has often been the case a phoenix from the burning ashes of a world war two aeroplane manufacturer where engines were being made after the plant was taken over by the countries national railways. they have since been taken over by the French Renault motor company. The Dacia-Denem was perhaps a step up from the earlier models and top of the range vehicle with 5-speed gearbox alloy wheels and even electric windows. the Dacia-Shifter was a pick-up commercial version of the Denem and produced for much longer.

The Dacia-Duster is a compact sports utility vehicle. the first cross over to be built by Dacia since being taken over by Renault. it was offered as 4x2 and 4x4 which has increased its market share in the United kingdom since its launch back in 2010.
