The Honda Quint was produced in the first half of the 1980's; it was re-badged as the Quintet for the European marketplace. A compact 5-door hatchback with a 1600cc 4-cylinder engine. It later became the Integra as the models progressed over the years.

The Honda S2000 ran for a decade until 2009, so named for its 2 litre power plant, which was increased slightly halfway through production. The first generation was given the code AP1 which was referred to as either the AP2 or AP1-facelift after 2004. In the style of a true English roadster, this 2-seater rag-top sports car had rear wheel drive, just as any such fun car should have, with a 6-speed manual gearbox driven by its 16-Valve double overhead cam engine. Some models in the UK were denoted GT with altered trim, a removable hard top, and an outside temperature gauge (probably because it's always raining and cold in the UK).

The Honda Shuttle was produced for only about 5 years, ending in 2000. This MPV or multi-purpose vehicle at its launch did not set the world on fire as it was probably slightly overpriced and had lots of competition, with a few production tweaks, however, and a drop in price, sales picked up. It is perhaps as good, if not better, than many of its contemporaries; however, it is very reliable and has better standard equipment. Much more purpose-built, rather than a van stripped out and some seats put in the space. A good, clean version of this vehicle is a very respectable, safe, and comfortable family car.

After the Shuttle came the Honda Stream, which was probably better than the Civic. Again a compact MPV, production of which ran until 2006, it was advertised as a sporty 7-seater.

If you use your car on a daily basis then you are already looking after the battery to a certain extent as long as you have a properly working charging circuit, it's when they only get used occasionally that the problems start. if thats the case then run them up every week for 20 minutes to put the charge back into the battery or put them on a charger. also if you use it every day you are perfectly placed to know if the battery was not as good as it once was, as soon as you suspect this then its time to change as you can be assure that on the chilly autumn or winter morning when you desperately need the car it will fail. it's the law of the universe and far better to change on a warm afternoon than in the snow.
