Maybach first started its life in 1909 and was created by a family duo, Wilhelm and his son Karl Maybach. The first thing they was manufacturing was diesel and petrol engines for Zeppelins and rail cars during World War 1, once that finished in 1918 the company was allowed to spread its wings and its first car was built in 1919. The car was introduced as a production model two years later at the Berlin Motor Show.
Between world-war-1 and world-war-2 Maybach produced a number of luxurious cars. many of which are now regarded as classics and are worth a serious amount of money.
Once World war II started, Maybach became Nazi Germany's main engine producer for their tanks and half tracks, including the infamous Panzer I,II,II and IV, and the Tiger I and II all had Maybach engines in them. During the bombing at Friedrichshafen the engine plant took major damage and although they tried to keep production going, they failed and production stopped.
In 1960, the original Mercedez-Benz (then called Daimler-Benz) purchased the company and used it to make special editions of their cars, which were virtually hand built. It stayed this way until the late 90s when two production models were realised, the 57 and 62, reflecting the lengths of the automobiles in decimetres. The Last Maybach vehicle was created in 2012 because of poor sales. Nowadays it is a sub-brand of Mercedez-Benz that's used to upgrade existing cars.
When you receive your order from us you will note that the battery will be almost fully charged. sufficient for engine start but make sure you go for a good run afterwards as first charge is important.
It's not something that most will notice but it will take a few charges and use in the motor before a full capacity charge is reached, it's part of the normal conditioning process, discharging the battery fully will only reduce their life expectancy, it will do them no good and will cost you money in the long run. if for any unforeseen reason they is an extended period where you are not using the batteries make sure they are fully charged first, then recharge every 4 weeks but do not leave on the charger for more than 24 hours.
Parts for a Maybach will be incredibly expensive but the battery is pretty standard. you can see what batteries are available below. also there are alternative heavy duty longer lasting and bigger capacity batteries available on the link if you prefer.
