This is a heavy duty scooter for any terrain which will carry up to 30 stone, it is designed to go anywhere with a sturdy suspension system to even out the bumps and a high ground clearance to keep you out of puddles.

The Landranger XL and XL8 normally comes with a pair of 75ah batteries, although it can be ordered with 100ah ones so you should check what you have if you do not already know before ordering to avoid getting the wrong ones.

Of course with big batteries like these is a big cost so unless you are made of money here are a few tips to keep your batteries lasting longer.

Charge before first use, although they will be almost fully charged its best, understand that if you use more that 50% of the charge it will lower the overall life of the battery so try to keep it above that, that will not always be possible but try to minimise it as much as you can. There will always be a slight energy when the battery is not being used, there is of course the possibility that part of the electrical system may also put a drain on the battery even if not being used, so check regular and charge when necessary.

Valve regulated lead acid batteries are no hazardous, will not spill and deemed approved for air transport, but check with the airline for any particular restrictions they may have, the batteries are also AGM or absorbed glass mat technology.

These batteries are very heavy approx 25-kilos each so be beware when fitting them
