The Invacare Meteor is a sturdy and tough mobility scooter, it comes with a lot of options as standard including choice of batteries, the standard ones are a pair of 50-amp hour ones, although longer running 75-amp hour ones are also available, if you do not know what you already have you should check, this offer is for a pair of standard fit 50-amp hour ones.

Fitting of the batteries is easy, so is check what you already have, lift the lever to swivel your seat to the side, then grasp the seat firmly and pull straight up to release it form the scooter, you can then pull up the cowling from the rear to expose the batteries, the change undo the plug, undo the battery strap and you will need a 11mm spanner to undo the bolts, put the new batteries back in the reverse order, allowing ten minutes should be more than enough time.

Fully charge your new batteries before first use, charge after each use, far better to do that than to allow to sit in a discharged state and if not being used for long periods then charge every two months.
