The batteries you receive from us will be almost fully charged, but you will still have to charge them before first use. There should be no need for many hours; it will probably not take very long at all, just until your charger indicates they are ready. This will, of course, depend on the charger's capabilities. This first step is important, so do not ignore it. Do not use without this initial charge; doing so can shorten the expected lifespan.

It's not always apparent, but it may take up to ten charges, combined with use, before your device reaches full capacity. This is normal conditioning; letting the batteries sit in a discharged state, even partially, is not a good idea. As soon as you have used them, put them back on charge. Do not deliberately discharge the batteries; it will only harm them and reduce their lifespan. To keep the batteries in good condition, keep them charged; if they are not being used for a period of time, charge them beforehand and top them up every four weeks, but do not leave them on a charger for more than 24 hours.

These 12-volt batteries are AGM (absorbed glass mat) and VRLA (valve-regulated lead-acid). They are deep cycle and non-hazardous, so they are suitable for indoor use or in electric vehicles. They won't leak, and they don't require maintenance.

Please confirm the code on your mobility equipment carefully; many are very similar, so you can order the right battery set.
