Even though the batteries you receive from us will be almost fully charged you should still charge before first use, just charge them until your charger indicate that they are ready, you may well just want to fit them and use the equipment but it's worth waiting until the first charge has completed and it might contribute to over life span
These batteries will require no general maintenance, they are AGM and VRLA, they are also not-hazardous so safe to use in the home or on the road and for travelling by air, but you should check with your airline when you book your ticket
