When you receive your Dalton Medical MW order, your new batteries will be nearly fully charged. However, you should complete the charging process before first use—this won't take long. Although you may be tempted to use them right away, it's best to wait for proper setup.
It may take several charge cycles for the batteries to reach full capacity, which is normal. Avoid leaving them discharged; always recharge them after use. Fully discharging the batteries will shorten their lifespan, so keep them charged. If you won’t use them for a while, charge them beforehand and then every four weeks, but don't leave them on the charger for more than 24 hours.
Our offered battery types, VRLA and AGM, require no maintenance, are sealed lead-acid, and are safe for home use and travel. However, check with your airline if you're flying.
