Charge fully before first use, they will come to you almost fully charged but it is always wise to charge at least until they are fully charged, if in doubt overnight.
Charge after every use, this will help them last longer.
If not being used for longer periods then ensure they are fully charged every eight weeks.
The battery type is valve regulated sealed or VRLA along with absorbed glass mat construction they are safe for use indoors as well as outside, they will not spill even if mounted on the side and are safe for public transport.
