Replacement Vision CP1245 battery, rechargeable 12v sealed lead acid VRLA AGM batteries often used in computer UPS systems supplied a low price direct from UK warehouse.
This is a valve-regulated lead-acid battery pack. Because it is also AGM, using absorbed glass mat technology, it will not spill, making it safe to be situated on its side without fear of spillage. It is also non-hazardous and used in many devices, quite often in computer UPS battery backup, uninterruptible power supply and surge-protected systems.
In such a device, you don't need to worry about charging, as it's handled internally and typically lasts 3-5 years under normal conditions. This, of course, can be affected by many things, such as excessive load and overheating; the latter can be caused if the UPS is not sited in a dust-free, climate-controlled environment. If so, remove dust from the system vents before it reaches the fan blades, which reduces the system's ability to cool itself. If, however, it is a model that requires manual charging, charge it before first use. In general use, it is far better to recharge after every use than to discharge it too far.

We find that this battery is often used in uninterruptible power supplies and small electrical surge-protected units, where this is the case we would suggest upgrading to the 5ah version of the battery link to which is just below or use the easy upgrade in the available options above. This offers a longer runtime for a small extra outlay and will benefit you in the long run.
