This small sealed lead acid battery can be mounted on its side without leaking due to the absorbed glass mat construction. It is also not hazardous, making it safe for use in critical installations. If you are using this battery with its mains charging circuit, then there is no need to be concerned about the charging regime as this will be taken care of by your existing equipment and will do a far better job than you will be able to manually. If, however, it will be in a portable device, then charge fully before and after each use. If you are not using it for elongated periods, then do so every two months to keep the cells active and minimise self-discharge.
