Non-spillable, not-hazardous and maintenance free, except of course charging, you need to keep your new battery fully charged, try not to leave it partially or fully discharged for any period of time as this will shorten the battery life. If it is not being used for long periods then we would suggest you charge every four or five weeks to keep the cells activated. This would not be required if the battery is going in something with its own mains charging circuit like a household or commercial alarm system. Where the onboard charger will look after all of this for you, and indeed do a much better job as the batteries in this kind of installation might last 5-10 years. That said it's a long time so you should have an annual check to ensure they are still doing the job you are asking of them.
