The terminals are probably what stand out the most with these batteries. They have the ability to take an M5 nut and bolt, which ensures an excellent fit to your equipment; they are often used in portable devices, so this can be a good idea to maintain.

Our 6-FM-9a and Hanwei HW-9-12 replacement batteries are both AGM and valve-regulated sealed lead. It requires no maintenance throughout its life but does, of course, need to be kept charged. If it is fitted in something like a generator, it will probably have enough power to start it and allow the machine to charge the battery. But of course, the way it should be done is that you fully charge the battery when it arrives and is first used. If the battery is not used for long periods, you should recharge every six weeks to keep the cells in good order.
It will take up to ten charges and associated use in the equipment before the battery can accept a full-capacity charge. This is normal and part of the conditioning process that all rechargeable batteries will endure at the start of their life.
Our 6-FM-9a and Hanwei HW-9-12 replacement batteries are constructed mainly of lead; this means that they are perfect for recycling, and you should ensure they are sent to a recycling centre at the end of their life for processing.
