The batteries that you obtain from us will be almost fully charged, but you should still charge them fully before first use, if it's going into a device that is always connected to the mains like a battery backup for monitoring or alarm system then you can miss this step as it will do it for you, you do not need to leave it on for hours on end, it will probably not take very long at all depending on the charger, just until the charger has indicated that it has finished, while you may well be tempted just to fit them and go without charging if it's going in a portable device its worth completing the charge first.
