This is a very small and compact battery. it's a valve regulated sealed lead with absorbed glass mat between the cells, this means it's safe to use indoors and can be mounted on its side or used in portable devices with no fear of spillage.

If its being used as a backup source of energy then the device its in will normally take care of the charging of it and it will last a very long time, if however its going in something more portable that relies on user participation for the charge then do so after every use and every four weeks if not being used.
