We suspect that this scooter is an import from the Far East. It is badged as an Elsinore, but we would not be surprised if it came in with other names. Four 12v sealed lead batteries are combined in the scooter to output 48v.
The ones we have seen all appear to have screw-down batteries, as in the picture above. However, we have also provided the option to order push-on terminals, just in case your set is different; selectable above under version.
We can also upgrade the batteries from 12Ah to 14ah for more miles per charge; this is also selectable above under available options.
The most important thing you should do when owning this type of battery is to keep it charged. Charge when they arrive and are first used. Charge after every use, even if it's a short trip. If not being used, recharge every six weeks. Do not leave them on the charger too long, just until they are charged.
The battery type is AGM, sealed lead-acid. It needs no maintenance except, of course, charging, which we have covered above. It will not spill any liquid and can be mounted on the side if you prefer, making it ideal for electric vehicles.
