The Pramac HX10E & HL10E is a high lift pallet truck; it uses a scissor action to securely lift a pallet up to working height with great stability, lessening the load on the operator. The Pramac HX10E is supplied with an onboard integrated battery charger and status indicator.
Even though the GEL version has less amperage at 40ah (minimum) than the standard 60ah, it's still a wise choice. The GEL version is better at being discharged further. So, depending on their use, they may last longer overall. They would be a much better battery to own and probably save you money in the long run.
Whatever battery chemistry you choose, the most important thing about lead-acid batteries for your Pramac HX10E & HL10E is to charge them as soon as you can after every use. The damage is done when they are left in a discharged state, be that partial or full. If they are not being used for long periods, recharge them every six weeks to keep the cells active.
It will typically take up to ten or fifteen charges and uses before the Pramac HX10E can accept a full-capacity charge. This is quite normal and part of the conditioning process they will all go through at the start of their busy and productive lives.
