Being flooded cells, it's worth checking electrolyte levels every couple of weeks and topping up if it's running low, a five minute job that keeps the plates covered and protects capacity over the battery's working life. Plug the set in to recharge at the end of every shift rather than letting it sit part-drained, and if the platform is going to be parked between jobs, give it a top-up charge at least monthly so it isn't left sitting flat.
