Please remember to fully charge your new NCR-3450 compatible battery when it arrives and before first use. It should not take long, as it will ship with a good charge, but it's always wise.
Recharge after every use; never leave in a discharged state. If not in use for an extended period, also charge every 6 weeks to keep the cells in good condition.
These are 6-volt valve-regulated sealed lead-acid batteries and will not leak. They are both AGM and VRLA; of course, they are the required deep-cycle, non-hazardous kind, so they are safe for use in portable and medical equipment, and indoors.
