When you receive your new battery from us the first thing after checking its the correct one is to charge it, if you use your tools every week then you are probably already looking after them in the best way, they like to be used and charged. If you do not use them often then charge before putting them away and recharge every 8-weeks, do not leave on a charger, just until they are charged then remove, no more than eight hours as this can do more damage than good. It will take up to 10 charges and use in your tool before the cells are capable of taking a full capacity charge, this may not always be noticeable but always applicable and quite normal.
