The GXT5-5000MRT4UXLN and GXT5-6000MRT4UXLN are uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) produced by Vertiv Liebert. A UPS provides backup power to connected equipment in the event of a main power failure. The GXT5-5000MRT4UXLN and GXT5-6000MRT4UXLN models have different power capacities, with the GXT5-6000MRT4UXLN having a higher capacity than the GXT5-5000MRT4UXLN. However, they are both very powerful devices which could be used in any facility that uses electricity.

Batteries in UPS machines are suggested to last around two to five years but the conditions and strain they are put under will greatly affect this. There are a few things you can do to help the batteries and ensure you are getting the most out of them. First of all, after installation you should run the system without any load, at minimum until the batteries are fully charged, a little longer if possible. Since the batteries will get hot during use, you should try to ensure there is plenty of ventilation around the UPS and do not rest other items on top of it. Lastly, if possible, try to keep the load below 40% but of course they are capable of way more than that.
