This set includes four 6V batteries for the Tennant T500 T500e walk-behind scrubber dryer, wet batteries, with an upgrade option to GEL & AGM.
The Tennant T500 & T500e are 24V walk-behind scrubber dryers for cleaning floors (each has four 6V batteries).
The Tennant T500 & T500e scrubber dryer is powered by four batteries, and that is what is on offer on this page. They are 6v each and combine in the walk-behind scrubber dryer to output 24v. They will come with a good charge, but you should still charge them when they arrive and before first use. If they will be unused for an extended period, also recharge every six weeks to keep the cells in good order.
Fully charge your new Tennant T500 & T500e walk-behind scrubber-dryer batteries when they arrive and after every use; leaving them discharged will do them no good. It will take more than fifteen uses and recharges before the batteries are ready to accept a full-capacity charge. This is quite normal and part of the conditioning process that all rechargeable batteries go through at the start of their busy lives.
