Please note that from around 2012 to 2014, the Brooks 80 & 180 stairlifts, including the curved models, switched to lithium-ion batteries. Now, as many of these may have been sitting in storage before they were fitted, it's very important to have a look to see what you have. Think of it as a practice run without unplugging cables, for when you come to change them anyway. The ones on this page will only fit the Ni-CD or Ni-MH versions, so please double-check what you have before ordering.

Please fully charge your new Brooks 80 & 180 NI-MH battery when it arrives and is first used. If it's not being used for extended periods, you should also recharge it every six weeks to keep the cells fresh.

There are two batteries in this set for the Brooks 80 & 180 stairlifts, as would be required for fitment in the equipment.
