There are a few different ways to care for batteries, but we recommend charging them fully upon delivery and before first use. This shouldn’t take long, as our batteries are new and kept topped up. Most importantly, you should never run them flat and charge after every use; leaving them in a discharged state is where the most damage can be done. If the scooter is going into storage or won’t be used for six weeks or so, then a top-up charge will prolong their life.
