The Quingo Vitess has a different front wheel setup, using a single larger wheel with a couple of outriggers for manoeuvrability and stability, and it comes with many features. As standard, it comes with a pair of 12V 50Ah batteries, and that's included in this offer. We have included their physical size further down the page so you can check before ordering.

The batteries are valve-regulated sealed lead-acid with absorbed glass mat construction. They will not spill, are suitable for portable use, and are not hazardous for public transport and the like.

These batteries require no maintenance throughout their life; however, they do need to be charged.

Charge fully before using them for the first time. They will arrive almost fully charged, but the first charge is important. If in doubt, charge overnight. Charge as soon as you can after each use. This kind of technology doesn't work well when partially discharged. If you are not using them for extended periods, charge them every eight weeks to counteract self-discharge. Please do not leave it on a charger for more than twenty-four hours.

Recyclable - these batteries have very high lead content. They are ideal for recycling down into another product. Please ensure they are directed to a recycling centre when the time is right, making them a very environmentally friendly product.
