We will dispatch batteries to you that are almost fully charged. Your UPS will still need to finish charging, which helps reset the battery cell itself. With this in mind, the system can't provide full runtime protection during this period. We know it may not be convenient as everything is completed in a rush, but if you can, it's best to run the system without any load to start.
You can expect a battery life expectancy of 2-5 years in your UPS; however, this will vary depending on storage conditions and overall use. Good ventilation is always important. If it's in an office, do not use it as a bookshelf. If you keep the load below 40%, the batteries will last longer; a high load will reduce the overall lifespan of the cells.
These batteries will require no general maintenance. They are AGM and VRLA, and non-hazardous, so they are safe to use in busy data centres or the home office. They can be used in rack-mountable or tower systems, as they will not leak if mounted on the side.
