How to charge and maintain scooter batteries?
Charging your batteries is important, as most damage occurs when they are allowed to run flat, so please charge them upon delivery and before first use. However, this shouldn't take long, as all our batteries are dispatched with sufficient charge. If six weeks pass without use, please charge them to slow the natural discharge rate.

The batteries on offer here are a pair of 12V 50Ah AGM batteries; however, we can upgrade you to 40Ah GEL. These will not only provide more miles per charge, as they can discharge slightly more than regular AGM, but can also take the abuse of deeper discharge, so they should last longer overall if treated correctly and are recommended by Sunrise Medical.
