Installing the new batteries into the UPS is not difficult and is well within reach for most people; refer to your user manual for instructions if needed. They are designed to be replaced. The ones we send to you will be almost fully charged, but the UPS will still complete a service charge upon installation. Please note that during this time, the system will not be able to provide full backup runtime until it's finished. Our best advice is to charge the system without any load until it's fully charged, if you have the opportunity; it helps reset it to a new energy level properly.
