Installing the batteries in not a difficult job, well within the capabilities of most people, you should refer to your manual for the method, they are designed to be replaced, the ones we send to you will be almost fully charged but the UPS will still complete a service charge upon installation, you should note that while this is going on you will not have the full runtime protection, if you have the opportunity it will be best to run the system without a load to start so it can properly reset itself to the new energy level.
It would be fair to expect batteries to last between two and five years in this UPS; however, how it's used will determine this.
