Both the E51 and E61 are walk-behind scrubber dryers built for cleaning hard floors in warehouses, retail units, schools and other busy commercial spaces. The E51 runs a single scrubbing disc while the E61 uses a twin-disc head. Keep your Eureka E51 or E61 walk-behind scrubber dryer working a full shift with this compatible replacement battery pair. Wired in series they reproduce the machine's original 24V supply, each unit built to the same 24V GEL specification as the batteries they replace.

Being sealed GEL batteries, there's no electrolyte to check or top up, so it's simply a case of wiring them in where the originals came out. The scrubber's built-in charger will bring the pack up to full and then ease back to a float charge automatically, so it's safe to leave the machine connected overnight without risk of overcharging. For the longest service life, put it on charge at the end of every shift rather than letting the batteries sit discharged, and if the machine is going into storage for a while, give it a top-up charge at least once a month so the cells don't settle into a deep-discharge state.
Once this pair eventually wears out, keep them out of general waste. GEL batteries use the same lead-acid chemistry as flooded and AGM types, so the lead plates, plastic casing and gel electrolyte are all recovered through ordinary battery recycling channels, making this one of the most widely recycled battery formats there is. Most battery suppliers and recycling points will take the old set off your hands once the new pair is fitted and running.
