Replacement 42 or 45ah rechargeable sealed lead batteries, pack of 2 x 12v battery often combined to make 24v for mobility scooters and wheelchairs.
This offer is for two batteries. These are often used in matched pairs in mobility scooters and power chairs; they are connected to produce 24 volts. This 45Ah version is the same physical size as the standard 38Ah, so is often used to upgrade very easily, as no changes have to be made; it just slips in.
The few amps you gain will let you use the battery longer between charges, which in the case of a mobility scooter would translate into more miles. More importantly, you'll have more residual charge in the battery pack after use, which will extend the battery's overall life. With this type of technology the battery is capable of many thousands of charges if you only discharge to 10%, the more you discharge the less overall charges it will be able to receive, if possible it far better to keep it above 50% at all times, therefore a larger amp hour battery will leave more energy in the cells all the time, saving you money in the long run as it will not need replacing as soon.
This is a valve-regulated AGM product; it will not leak and is not hazardous so that it can be transported on the road and on public transport, and normally on flights as well, but you should tell them when you book your ticket.
