The Sunrise Medical Sterling Elite-2 series is an impressive range of mobility scooters that are built very well with the Plus being the flagship. Having front and rear suspension over large fourteen-inch wheels. The handlebars have height and angle adjustments with the binnacle housing an LCD display integrating soft touch buttons to control driving profiles. The lights include front, rear, and indicators in LED. Overall a solid piece of kit that should serve you well.
The batteries it takes as you would expect are also the best, the standard, and ones offered on this page being 60ah GEL which can be upgraded to 73.5ah versions from the drop-down menu in the easy upgrade section above.
Charge your new batteries when they arrive and first use. Recharge as soon as you can after every use. Never try to deliberately discharge the batteries, this will only shorten the life expectancy. If they are not being used for long periods then also recharge every six weeks to keep the cells in good order.
