These cartridge modules are used in a number of UPS systems, they will fit the SMT1000RMi2U, SMC1500i, Smart-UPS C 1500 and others, the expected life span is between 3-5 years, the best conditions would be a dust free climate controlled room, not everybody has one of these so do your best to keep the vents clear, often dust will build up around them, keep it clear regularly with a vacuum as all that dust will eventually coat the inside including the cooling fans restricting air flow which means it will be running hotter than it need to, this will directly relate to a shorter working life so it makes sense to site the system in a well ventilated area and clear particles from the surrounding area before they make it inside the box.
