Replacement Stannah 250 battery pack, a pair of recommended sealed lead non-spillable batteries for this mobility stairlift.
The Stannah 250 stairlift requires two batteries for installation, and that is what this offer is for:

The batteries are valve-regulated and sealed with absorbed glass mat technology, as recommended for this installation; they are non-hazardous and will not leak if mounted on the side.
Fitting the batteries is within the capabilities of most do-it-yourselfers and will save you a lot of money if you do not have to hire an engineer to do the job for you.
It is basically the following method which might change slightly for model to model, its normally easier if the chair is at the top of the stair, ensure the power is off, you will find it easier to remove the seat and then the cowling underneath, here you will see the two batteries for which you need to replace, do one at a time so you do not confuse the cables and reverse the operation to put back together, the first time it will probably take 20-minutes finding the correct screws on the cowling to undo, and on some you might need a stubby screwdriver as the access is not very good, apart from that a very easy job.

A question we are often asked is: can I upgrade these batteries? You can, but there is a slight but. Most of these installations, not all, come with small terminals, so that's what we send batteries with small terminals, and they will fit both. Now we can offer a 9Ah with a large terminal.
