24 volt 12ah electric bicycle and mobility scooter battery pack.
This pack is for a set of two 12v batteries that combine to give 24 volt 12ah, often used in many electric bicycle's and mobility scooters, they are VRLA AGM non-hazardous no spill at low price.

These are very tough and rugged batteries, often used in portable equipment they are suitable to be placed in the back of vehicles with no adverse effect, they are sealed and will not leak so it will not matter if they are laid on their side in the boot of a car. they are also not-hazardous so will not damage the interior of your vehicle and safe for use indoors, indeed they are often used in smaller mobility scooters where this often happens. Rest assured the valve regulated battery type is normally safe for travel by all of transport including air but you should always make your own enquires with the airline at point of booking.
Charging is very important, you should charge fully before first use, it will take a few charges before you will be able to receive a full capacity charge, this i normal. we would recommend that you charge after each and every use, far better to do that that to leave in a partially discharged state, if you never discharge you new batteries to less than 50% they will last considerably longer, and we mean a lot longer than if you do, so charge after every use and if not being used for long periods then charge every eight weeks
