This valve-regulated sealed lead acid battery is often used to upgrade standard 12ah and, for that matter, some 10Ah batteries to give longer runtime. In the case of a portable device like a children's ride on toy car or bicycle or a mobility scooter, it directly converts into more miles per charge, or more excess capacity at the end of a day's use, ensuring a longer life span overall.
Please remember to keep a charge in your batteries. If used in portable devices like disabled mobility scooters, then charge after every use, do not let them sit in a partially discharged state. Try to use only the last 20% of the capacity of the cells, as this will shorten the expected overall life span. If not used for periods, add a top-up charge every two months. Try to keep it from running flat. This is when the most damage can occur, but do not just leave it on the charger. Just until it's charged, then you can remove it.
