A sealed lead battery made for heavy-duty Jump-starter pack with a 12v 600PHCA, ideal for starting engines and non-spill fit in most standard packs taking 17ah to 22Ah batteries.

This battery has the same footprint as the standard 17ah, 18ah, 20ah and 22Ah pack often fitted in automotive Jump start packs. this battery is designed for this purpose to service the high amp requirement needed to start an engine, it has bolt down terminals.
Charge fully when it arrives and as soon as you can after every use. Also if its not being used for long periods then every six weeks to keep the cells fresh. Its when the batteries are left without charge in them that the most damage is done so keep them charged. This does not mean leaving them on charge either, as this can also harm them.
This version of the battery has 600PHCA that's Pulse hot cranking amps. Starting batteries are slightly different to normal deep cycle batteries, the plates are thinner as the prime requirement is to get as much energy out of them in a short period. While this battery is not a dedicated starter it will be more useful in the environment when compared to a general sealed lead. It is for this reason that we recommend these in commercial settings for replacement in the smaller jump-packs. That said if all you are doing is using it to power something like an air pump then it probably will not be suitable.
