Please note this battery case size is quite common, but the terminals are on one end, often seen in mobility and medical devices.

Your new FirstPower FP1226 battery replacement will be delivered almost fully charged, but as in common with all rechargeable batteries, you should charge fully when it arrives and before first use.

It will always take several charges and use in the equipment before the cells can accept a full capacity charge. This is quite normal and part of the conditioning process they all go through; you probably will not even notice.

This battery is AGM and VRLA, which means it will not leak as it's sealed and can be mounted on its side or used in portable equipment without fear of spillage.
