The five batteries contained in this pack are sealed lead AGM and VRLA. They will not spill and require no maintenance, except charging.
These batteries have screw- or bolt-down terminals, as seen on many Far East imports.
If you want the longest life from your new batteries, you need to take care of them. Please charge them when delivered and before first use. Recharge them after every use; do not let them sit in a semi- or fully discharged state any longer than absolutely necessary. The more energy you can leave in the cells at the end of a day's use, the longer they will last overall. If you don't use them for long periods, recharge every six weeks. It will take up to ten uses and related full charges before they can maintain a full capacity charge. This is normal and part of the conditioning process all rechargeable batteries go through.
Each battery is 12V. This pack has five batteries and normally outputs 60V; of course, this depends on how they are fitted.
