You will receive a set of four 6v batteries that connect within your existing battery casing using the cables. It is a much cheaper way to get the hoist back up and running than replacing the whole set; usually, there is nothing wrong with the plastic casing. The process should be fairly simple and not require any specialist tools, but of course, seek advice from a professional if need be.
After the batteries are successfully installed, maintenance is simple, and the most accurate guidance can be found in your manual or directly from the manufacturer. In general, for sealed lead batteries, it is advisable to keep them fully charged whenever feasible. After each use, ensure the batteries are recharged, and if they will not be used for five weeks, providing a top-up charge will be beneficial.
