The SRT192BP and SRT192RMBP are external extended battery modules that fit a range of UPS machines from the SRT5 and SRT6 ranges. The addition of the number two at the end means it's for the SRT8 and SRT10 range; however, the batteries are the same. These are powered by a set of thirty-two (two lots of RBC140) batteries that will eventually need replacing; this is fairly simple and quick to do, using all your old connections and wires. On offer here is a set containing the total number of batteries needed to replace a single external battery pack. This extended module greatly increases the time the UPS can do its job.

Tips on looking after your new SRT192BP batteries
Batteries installed into UPS systems typically have a life of about two to five years depending on use. Obviously, the UPS has its own charging cycle, which is a good start, as the computer will maintain the correct voltage better than a human ever could; however, there are a few things you can do to help. If you are running a machine of this size, one would assume you already know these tips, but they are listed here anyway. Firstly, after installation, you should allow the UPS to run without load, as this will help it reset. You can also ensure it has good ventilation, is free of dust, and is stored in a climate-controlled area. If you can use less than 40% load, this will also be beneficial.

Recycle your old SRT192BP2 batteries
These batteries are sealed lead AGM and safe to mount on their sides, which means they are environmentally friendly and can be recycled (including your old ones).
