As a 26-inch walk-behind scrubber, the Encore 26 is built for covering wide floor areas quickly in warehouses, distribution centres, retail spaces and similar commercial sites. The Nilfisk Encore 26 walk-behind scrubber runs on a bank of four 6V flooded lead-acid batteries, and this compatible replacement is built to the same spec as the battery it's replacing. Being a wet cell rather than a sealed battery, this one benefits from a bit of routine upkeep. Put it on charge as soon as the shift ends instead of letting the machine sit part-discharged, and if it's going into storage or won't be used for a while, give it a top-up charge at least once a month so it doesn't settle into a deep discharge state. It's also worth lifting the vent caps every so often to check the electrolyte level and topping up with distilled water if it's running low, since wet cells lose a little through normal use.
We can also offer AGM or GEL batteries which will eliminate the need for any topping up, these can be selected on the easy upgrade section.
